EY Risk Transformation team helps addressing client issues such as business performance variability, business and process controls transformation; application security integrity, governance, risk and control (GRC) technology enablement, business and/or IT GRC, continuous monitoring, vendor and contract risk management and IT risk management. We enhance performance through creating risk- enabled organizations. We help clients identify important risks, design frameworks to manage them and improve the effectiveness and efficiency of risk management.
A broad range of risk- based advisory services our Risk Transformation team provides include Program Risk Management (PRM) which assists our clients in proactively identifying and managing risks in programs and individual projects. This can be achieved by providing independent verification of the state of mission-critical business and IT programs and initiatives (growth or operational excellence). Additionally the PRM team assists organizations with designing and implementing the governance programs necessary for ongoing decision making and risk management that can lead to success. Our team provides fact- based advice to senior executives in five strategic areas: Independent Project and Program Review (IPR); Independent Program Management Office maturity assessment; Investment Governance and Portfolio Management; Strategic Sourcing Risk Advisory and Expert Witness Services.
About the Opportunity
Proactively identifying and managing risk to provide clients with the visibility, predictability, and management criteria to effectively identify and manage risk to positively influence the outcome (reduce the cost and/or enhance the effectiveness) of a program or initiative. The PRM practice combines large complex program and project management experience with unique insights gained from years of program/project management experience and expert witness work. This background provides our resources with the understanding and the ability to rapidly identify and remediate the root cause of incremental failures that, if not contained, can lead to large- scale program or project failure.
