We're growing in Australia, New Zealand and across Asia, we are seeking a talented individual to be our Head of Business Development, based in our Sydney office.
Working closely with our Executive Leadership Team, Client Solutions Teams, Marketing, Product and IT departments, you will be responsible for the successful growth of Isentia's new business queries. You will collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure client and marketing intelligence is incorporated into Isentia's future service and product plans to increase sales success.
As a successful Head of Business Development what will you be doing?

Actively and successfully manage the sales process from lead generation to close, including handover to the account management team.

You will skilfully maximise the services from all inbound and outbound enquiries and empower your team to do the same
Develop new business relationships generating revenue for across all Isentia's
Managing and maintain a pipeline that ensures all sales administration is current and using Salesforce software.

You will be manage and coach your team on a path of continuous success, including recognising their contributions

You will provide clear direction and leadership creating a highly engaged team

Collaborating with marketing, product and IT teams to ensure that future sales plans incorporate market intelligence to drive sales




Requirements


Who are you? A proven problem-solver with the ability to generate ideas and solutions

You are a confident negotiator who has a track record of closing deals
Extensively experienced in new business generation and client management experience

You have experience in creating effective sales solutions in a b2b consultative selling environment with long sales cycles.

Organised, with excellent time management skills

You remain calm and able to work under pressure; patience and persistency are your key qualities

You are experienced and knowledgeable in the media sales market with an understanding of current media issues, competitor behaviours and strategy

A strong leader with an emphasis on coaching to high performance
You're proficient in CRM Software
