A fantastic opportunity for a legal graduate to start a career with a leading UK firm

The Firm
One of the UK's top–rated law firms, multi–accredited and highly respected, our client has offices in central and north London and East Anglia with an emphasis on providing bespoke legal services to its well–established client base. The firm focuses on the provision of specialist corporate and commercial services and clients include not–for–profit organisations, property developers and entrepreneurs and HNW individuals in the UK and globally. Currently embarking on a major period of expansion, a vacancy has now arisen for a junior role within the specialist private wealth team. This is a unique opportunity for a law graduate without a training contract to start a legal career with one of the UK's major law firms.

The Role
The private wealth team provides specialist tax and trusts advice to individuals and businesses and is consulted by other departments within the firm. The team therefore can be called upon to advise on matters as diverse as agricultural property relief, Court of Protection applications, charitable donations, the management of heritage properties, offshore trusts and succession planning and is additionally instructed in contentious work, for instance in relation to probate and inheritance litigation. You will be assisting fee–earners, many of whom are named individuals in Chambers Directory and the Legal 500, with a variety of administrative tasks such as case and diary management, filing, correspondence and document production.

The Candidate
Our client is looking for applications from highly numerate law graduates who have some understanding of private wealth management and are looking to train in this specialised and highly remunerative area of law;
With an excellent academic record;
Meticulous, focused and with a real eye for detail;
With a flexible, 'can–do' approach, ambitious and reliable.
You should have excellent IT and document production skills, and be able to prioritise a busy and demanding workload.
