Permanent full time position
Macquarie University location (onsite parking & close to public transport)
Competitive base salary plus 15.4% super

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Business Project Manager to join our team in the National Support Office, working directly to the Chief Operating Officer this role will give you the opportunity to support our National network using your extensive Project Management skills on a wide variety of in-house projects.
The key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Executing activities such as project planning, scheduling, cost and benefit estimation, cost tracking and risk management
Ensuring that all projects are planned appropriately and follow prescribed processes
Providing visibility of the project status to senior executives and key stakeholders
Working with customers and technical resources to develop project schedules
Performing risk management planning, risk identification and mitigation planning
Measure and report on the agreed Business Case benefits on completion of the project
To be considered we are looking for the following attributes:
An excellent work ethic, positive attitude and excellent written and verbal communication skills
Effective and productive engagement with technical and non-technical internal/external stakeholders including senior business managers
Demonstrated hands-on experience in Business Project delivery using a variety of methodologies
A sound understanding of project management principles with demonstrated experience in preparing project plans and project financial management
Experience in a dynamic and highly business-engaged environment and matrix organisation
Desirable Capabilities:
Tertiary qualification in a technical, scientific or engineering discipline.
Project Management certification, such as Prince 2 or PMP (PMBOK)
Experience with Microsoft Dynamics and Oracle ERP
Experience in, or knowledge of, the Health sector
Experience working in dynamic teams
