Assistant Finance Manager - Nationally Recognsied Brand

Opportunity for a candidate to join a fast-paced and welcoming organisation at the Management Accountant/Assistant Finance Manager level. You will assist with production of monthly management accounts, managing the financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and reporting as well as performing ad hoc duties as required.

Description

• To produce prompt accurate meaningful and well explained monthly management and service charge accounts to facilitate budgetary control and facilitate meetings with budget holders
• To be involved in reviewing and improving the month-end process.
• To produce specified balance sheet account reconciliations on a monthly basis to ensure regulatory indicators and financial convents can be monitored.
• To assist the Finance Business Partner in the preparation of the annual statutory accounts to a timetable agreed with the external auditors
• To assist budget holders in the preparation of the annual budget and assist in the budget planning process as required.
• To advise and train budget holders in matters of financial understanding and budgetary control.
• To produce monthly key performance indicators within the management accounts to ensure there are no surprises in our annual review with our rating agencies.
• To provide support to project work and cross functional teams within the Group as required.
• To perform any other duties as might reasonably be required from time to time by Senior Managers.

Profile

Successful candidate will be committed and diligent individual who is FULLY QUALIFIED member of ACCA, CIMA, CIPFA or equivalent.

Job Offer

On offer for the candidate is between £32-£37000 per annum (based on experience) plus additional benefits.
