The Orthodontic Specialists is part of Bupa Dental Corporation and has practices located in Launceston, Devonport and Burnie. Our dedicated team offers a thorough and personalised approach to patient care, with a simple philosophy based on trust, respect and empathy.
Due to a recent departure, we are recruiting for a Practice Manager. This will be a great opportunity for an experienced Practice Manager or an individual who possesses dental management experience who is looking for new challenges and step-up in your career. You are professional, adaptable, and assertive in your management style. You are also a strong team player that naturally motivates your team by being equally hands-on in your role.
As our Practice Manager your responsibilities includes and not limited to the following:
- Ensure smooth and efficient running of the practice
- Assist with overall financial performance of the practice in line with the approved budget
- Provide sterilisation and infection control solutions, maintain stock control
- Monitor all practice activities in line with the business environment
- Patient management; greeting and welcoming patients, answering all phone enquiries, making & confirming appointments; checking, processing & managing customer accounts
- Patient care from entry to the surgery, recall management
- General administration including processing payments using EFTPOS & HiCAPS
- Reporting as necessary on practice activities
About you
- Minimal 2 years dental practice management experience essential
- Experience in dental assisting essential
- Proven track record of strong organisational skills, administrative and time management
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal & customer service skills
- A proven track record of punctuality and reliability
- A great attitude towards teamwork
