Reporting to the Planning and Scheduling Manager, The Forecasting Officer is accountable for medium to long term forecasting and planning, ensuring full utilisation of the company's Forecasting systems with reporting to predict and plan for demand changes. The Forecasting Officer is responsible for training and supporting users of AMT in a day to day operational sense, regular system administration tasks and reporting. This role will act as the key point of contact and subject matter expert for the forecasting system and processes for all internal stakeholder enquiries (e.g. Marketing, Service and Parts Operations).
Essential:
A minimum of 2 years' experience in a Planning or Forecasting role
Experience in equipment planning systems e.g. (AMT, SAP)
intermediate computer literacy skills - MS Office, internet based applications
Excellent communication and presentation skills (written, verbal, interpersonal)
Ability to work successfully within a team and autonomously
Desirable:
Understanding of basic planning principles
Previous experience with Parts and logistics
Mechanical aptitude
Understanding of workshop and field service operations
Previous exposure to mining components and machinery
