About the role:
Lead the Regional Service Delivery team to delivery of water services, wastewater services, and irrigation services to customers across the North West Region in accordance with the Corporations operating license, Customer Charter and other corporate regulatory requirements.
What the role will offer:
Manage the development and delivery of regional service delivery policies, strategies and plans that align with corporate, divisional and regional objectives.
Manage and lead the provision of water related services to all Water Corporation customers within the region in accordance with regulatory and corporate requirements.
Demonstrate leadership by ensuring all work is undertaken with safety as the first priority, where no injury is considered acceptable, and all activities are undertaken without compromising health and safety.
Provide strong leadership that engages, motivates and inspires the service delivery team to deliver high performance in an achievement driven culture.
Development and implementation of regional service delivery succession plans for leadership and business critical positions to ensure continuity of service within the region.
Accountable for the financial and business performance of the service delivery team, including operating costs, efficient use of resources and meeting performance targets and objectives.
Key skills and experience:
Extensive leadership and operational line management experience
Substantial experience and demonstrated capability of leading the delivery of capital intensive and customer focussed essential services in a large state-wide organisation.
Knowledge of operations and maintenance practices relating to the provision of water services.
Capability to manage, develop and deploy people to enhance business capability
Demonstrates the ability to lead the delivery of business improvement through the application of best practice strategic and tactical business processes and performance principles.
Substantial business and financial planning experience
