Group Tax Accountant

A great opportunity has been created for a tax senior to join the group function of a growing international business, based in Dublin north. The Group Tax Accountant will support the Group Tax Manager on a wide variety of projects across all tax heads. This position is focused on consultancy and advisory type projects with a much smaller focus on compliance. The Group Tax Accountant will also get exposure to the international business and will be a key support for the groups international operations. About the role Providing tax supports to ensure that any tax queries are dealt with across the business and identify opportunities for tax savings Research and provide tax advice around the tax implications of key transactions and investment decisions for the business Provide tax support for the groups expanding international business units and projects Prepare year end corporate tax returns and assist with year end tax accounting work Assist the group tax manager on transfer pricing requirements and compliance in relation to same About the person Training completed within a tax team of a top tier firm, a background in either tax specialism (corporate, VAT, employment taxes) Qualified ACA / AITI Knowledge of other tax heads will also be considered advantageous Good communication skills and the ability to liaise with other non-tax professionals Ability to work in a dynamic high-performance environment Ability to work to deadlines Working across all business types, but exclusively within the tax, accounting & finance community, Barden exists to share bespoke advice, guidance and support at each step of your career.
