About the Role: Based in Limerick, the successful candidate will be responsible for working with a Client Service Representative (CSR) team providing professional Custody Client Services to a range of clients. This is a broad role ensuring daily, weekly and monthly deliverables are complete within agreed deadlines. The role entails development of team members to provide a superior service to our clients. Fundamental to the role is ensuring strong relationships are built with all clients based on trust and consistently exceed client expectations. Responsibilities: Ownership of Custody Relationship for clients under your remit. Senior point of consultation for clients on all custody related topics. Initiates frequent, proactive communication with the client. Leads / Conducts Service Reviews. Lead, manage & inspire your team with the overall goal of delivering proactive, unparalleled client service to Northern Trust's clients Defines the team's purpose; influences the prioritisation of work and the allocation of resources to deliver on client commitments. Sets clear goals and expectations and ensure regular updates to ensure self and team members achieving them. Develops and maintains effective relationships with critical business partners & other internal groups, e.g. IOO, Fund Accounting, Transfer Agency, Custody Servicing, Derivatives, Pricing, etc. Develops and maintains effective relationships with relevant third parties, e.g. trustees, external advisors, consultants, etc. Provides appropriate escalation of service & delivery and other relevant issues / opportunities to RMs / CSMs / internal stakeholders. Tracks service & delivery results against project plans and SLD, monitors service & delivery through client reviews, internal / external surveys, specific client feedback, consultant feedback etc. Ensures procedures are fit for purpose. Promotes by example and actions the highest standards of integrity, accountability & client service across GFS EMEA and the global GFS business. Requirements: Technically competent in relevant GFS service areas; especially Custody Services (essential) Solid technical knowledge of the securities industry, its products and instruments (essential) Excellent leadership qualities and skills Creates and fosters an inclusive environment where team members interact with trust, respect and a shared sense of purpose and collective impact Excellent interpersonal skills including ability to persuade and influence change / best practice. Ability to communicate with both partners and clients at all levels within respective organisations. Thoroughly learns and understands client strategy, infrastructure, products, and key personnel and shares this information across the wider team and organisation. Highly flexible and adaptable to change. Consistently displays a balanced, cross-functional perspective, liaising with the rest of the organisation to improve service delivery, efficiency, effectiveness and productivity. Strong communication and inter-personal skills and strong process orientation. Strong leadership skills, both as a manager and also as an advocate for the company and the business at large. Previous exposure to, and success in, dealing with senior client management. Well-developed management and leadership skills.
