Accounts Senior - Highly Reputable Practice!

An exciting opportunity for an accounts senior to support the growing accounts services team in a medium sized Ashford office. This role will be quite varied and there is scope to concentrate on one of two directions in addition to the statutory accounts work.

Description

Responsibilities for the Senior Accountant will include:

Statutory accounts preparation including year end adjustments and accounts disclosures, from Trial Balance or books and records;
Preparation of corporation tax computations;
Management accounts preparation;
Communicate with and handle any queries from clients directly;
Supervision of junior staff within the department and working closely with the audit team;
On-site client work

Profile

The successful candidate will have a strong knowledge and experience in statutory accounts preparation and corporation tax to a high level and under UK GAAP.

You will also be involved in preparing both monthly and quarterly include management accounts and will be supervising more junior members of the team.

The successful candidate will be enthusiastic to work within a growing department, and bring fresh ideas and contribution to the team. You should be able to work on your own initiative and be a team player who appreciates deadlines and budgets that are in place.

ACA/ACCA qualified

A strong accounting background combined with good IT skills
