This is a key role focusing predominantly in advisory tax, developing and building on a growth area within the firm. The firm is based in East Kent, near Ashford, well established with an excellent reputation across Kent, the wider UK and with international links and clients. The firm acts for a very varied and wide ranging client base to include good sized corporate clients/ international clients and associated wide range of private client individuals across HNWIs, company directors, non domicile/resident, trusts and other wide ranging clients. As a result of growth and succession planning the firm is looking to invest in an Senior Manager to join their team, reporting directly in to the Partners.

Description

This leading East Kent based firm of chartered accountants near Ashford has undergone impressive organic growth. They are searching for a managerial tax professional to join the business, in a career enhancing opportunity for the right individual, as Tax Manager / Senior Manager.

You will play a key role in furthering the development of the tax department, through managing a quality service to a varied portfolio of wide ranging private client and OMB and SME corporate clients, in a mixed tax capacity. You will also play an important role working closely with Tax Directors, leading and delivering on a wide range of planning and tax advisory projects, across areas such as restructuring projects, R&D, capital gains tax advice, and other wide ranging tax advisory projects. You will carve a key role in this growing firm and have a clear path to progress and develop in your tax career. Because of the seniority of the position, the levels of corporate, and personal tax can be varied dependent on an individuals background and experience.

Profile

You are likely to be ACA/CTA qualified, or equivalent, with a strong background and career history focused in tax, looking to develop your career in planning and advisory work at the Senior Manager level.

You will be at the Senior Tax Manager / Director level and be seeking an opportunity with genuine career development prospects.
