Payroll Executive (HR) - South Dublin City Our client that operates in the educational sector is looking for a Payroll Executive (HR) with experience in dealing with compensations and benefits. The aim of this role would be to work within HR Department liaising with vendor (payroll is outsourced, approx. volume 500) and third-party benefit providers. The Coordinator will be the main point of contact for all payroll and benefit activities. This role is based in Dublin City Centre/ South Dublin City. This role would be suitable to someone who has 2-3 years of payroll experience as a minimum; someone who enjoys project work around streamlining and automation of processes and systems of work; someone who enjoys payroll and can explain to employees how particular benefits or compensations work. Salary & Benefits: Excellent Salary on offer €35,000-€40,000 Very central location Supportive and lovely team environment Benefit plans, Pension, VHI, TaxSaver, Bike to Work (permanent employee) Duties / Responsibilities: Prepare and the monthly staff payroll instruction and correctly apply deductions, process benefits, enrol new entrants and update leavers Process quarterly payroll instruction for professionals and experts such as lecturers, invigilators who provide services and input into the College Process all payroll and benefit queries, exceptions, policy and procedure clarifications and be the main point of contact for all payroll and benefit matters Respond to employee queries about timekeeping, including flexi hours, annual leave and TOIL Coordinate the annual renewal process of group benefits, including Pension, Death in Service and Income Protection schemes Process and monitor monthly benefit payments for all benefit plans, Pension, VHI, Taxsaver, Bike to Work Deliver new employee induction information sessions related to benefits and payroll, time and attendance system Support internal and external audits of payroll and benefit processes Liaise with outsourced payroll vendor and providers of group benefits and coordinate the service level agreements Utilise time and attendance reports to inform payroll changes, and maintain system updates to time and attendance system, TMS Maintain all payroll and benefit records and ensure compliance with data protection regulations Coordinate payroll changes as per job banding process and pay scales Record and update monthly stats for HR KPI's, monitoring payroll costs, absences and attendance records Enrol new entrants to quarterly payroll, process queries; support set up of specialist pay arrangements Support pay and benefits annual budget planning process Key Requirements: Relevant 3rd level and/or professional qualification Minimum of 2- 3 years' experience working in a similar environment is essential Excellent knowledge of payroll processes and reporting Excellent knowledge of employee benefits essential Strong IT skills, including excellent knowledge of MS Office Suite and employee time and attendance systems Excellent MS Excel Proactive, working on own initiative and trustworthy For more information please apply through the link provided for the attention of Magdalena or call Osborne Recruitment on 01 6384400 For more information on all of our current jobs visit www.osborne.ie
