Finance Manager - HK Based Conglomerate / Financial Institution

Your new company
Your new company is a local, Hong Kong-based conglomerate with a focus on providing a variety of financial services to clients based in Hong Kong and China. With a company size of 15 people, your new company is actively looking to expand their team to help with growth of the business.

Your new role
In your new role, you will report into the financial controller and cover a wide spectrum of accounting duties including:

• Management and full processing of all accounts payable, accounts receivable, including check runs and reconciliation of the general ledger accounts
• Prepare group monthly management reports and financial analyses
• Compile group annual budget & quarterly forecast
• Assist in daily cash management activities, including preparation of daily cash flow reports , expenses reimbursement, audit and tax issues etc.
• Participate in handling taxation and compliance matters
• Involve in adapting, developing, updating and maintaining of policies and procedures
• Perform ad hoc assignments as required
• Maintain the general ledger accounts
• Complete bank reconciliations
• Processing payrolls and preparing monthly payroll remittance
• Supporting documents for yearend closing including trial balance, balance sheet and preparation of financial statements
• Management of client files and accounts by ensuring proper documentation on file is reviewed and accurate
• Handle full spectrum of HR functions including payroll, employee compensation and MPF
• Commission calculation
• Perform company secretary duty in preparing and filing documents to Companies Registry
• Provide administrative support to the team and handle special assignment and ad hoc project as assigned.

What you'll need to succeed
To succeed, you will need 8+ Years of related experience working with full cycle accounting. You will ideally be looking for a family-sized office. You will have a positive can-do attitude with experience of managing a small team.
