Job description: Maternity Cover - Glanbia Milk Payments Specialist 12 Month Contract Role Summary The Glanbia Milk function within GII is responsible for managing all aspects of milk supply, from sampling, advisory, farm development, member relations, collections through to delivery and payment. A vacancy has now arisen for a Milk Payments Specialist (maternity cover - 12 months contract). Based in Ballyragget, reporting to the Milk Office Team Lead, the primary purpose of this role is to ensure delivery of on-time and accurate Milk Payments both to individual and corporate suppliers along with detailed reporting and analysis to internal and external parties. Key Responsibilities Ensure milk system accurately reflects all schemes Prepare timely reports for review and approval Accurate and on-time milk payments Key contact for all milk payment related data with GII Finance, CFI Finance, Agri Finance and Shares Office Completion of charges Maintain step action guides for all key processes Ensure monthly volumes are reconciled to payments Assist with requirements definition for system developments and user acceptance testing Knowledgeable on key milk IT systems, which currently includes; Milk System, SAP, Milk Movements, CRM & Glanbia Connect   Qualifications and Experience Qualified accountant with a minimum of 5 years relevant work experience. An agricultural background / knowledge is desirable Experience in Audit and Compliance would be of benefit Excellent computer skills and good command of Excel and Oracle based systems Exceptional analytical skills; detail oriented and well organized. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
