Corporate Tax Manager

The Company The practice is one of the UK's leading firms and has a wide-reaching global presence. This role will be based in its Belfast office, which is scaling up to meet the demand of its diverse client base. The Role This role will allow the successful candidates to manage a portfolio of owner managed businesses who have intricate tax requirements. There will be a great variety of project work in addition to technical assignments where client service will be critical. This role will be central to the success of the wider office and key in driving development. Responsibilities Identification and advice on tax planning opportunities whilst undertaking specialist technical assignments as required The main point of contact on tax only cases for the firm Research and prepare proposals for new work and present to prospective clients Ensure that client's tax affairs comply with statutory requirements and manage compliance work team efficiency A line manager for staff who will take active involvement in their development Actively involved in the office's business development activities Develop a detailed knowledge of the firm's specialist services and to undertake special work in response to client needs where appropriate On Offer A very competitive salary of £35,000 - 40,000, and the office is easily accessible in Belfast City Centre. Other benefits are also on offer and will be confirmed at interview stage.
