Overview

Primary Role:
  • New trades/lifecycle authorization for interbank and client transactions
  • Exception handling & investigations for trades that failed to STP
  • Ensures settlement swifts gets released and settled promptly with counterparty
  • Raise and investigate trade/lifecycle discrepancies
  • Accounting entries ledger postings for B2B transactions
  • Regulatory reporting (MAS/EMIR/CFTC/HKTR)
  • Cash and shares reconciliation, investigate on cash breaks and failed shares settlement
  • EOD checks
  • SOP Update
  • Participation in UAT
  • Ad-hoc task assigned by Line Manager





Qualifications
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years experience in private bank operations
  • Possess product knowledge in derivatives is a plus
  • Degree holder
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and SWIFT
  • Fluency in English is essential
  • Clear written & verbal communication skills with all levels of staff
  • Client-oriented mindset
  • Team Player with ability to work independently and with a can-do attitude
  • Highly organized with excellent attention to detail
  • Excellent time management and prioritization skills
  • Able to identify key issues and propose process improvement; self-starter
  • Ability to adopt and maintain a logical approach in critical situations
  • Good sense of control and regulatory awareness
  • Ability to work & deliver under time pressure.
