Senior Business Analyst – Fraud & Identity

Experian was recently cited in Forrester's Vendor Landscape: Mobile Fraud Management Solutions report and listed as having nine out of a possible 10 capabilities needed to combat mobile fraud. Experian was also identified as one of three leading players in the fraud detection and prevention space in a new study from Juniper Research.


Clarifying, recording and communicating new requirements for our products and will be liaising on a day–to–day basis with a wide variety of stakeholders across the globe. You will be a member of the product development team, working closely with the Product Director, software developers and QA teams in the USA, UK and Bulgaria to ensure that the product vision is clearly communicated, resulting in the delivery of products that exceed client expectations:
  • Work closely with the Product Manager to clarify and record requirements, producing analysis artifacts to required quality & timelines (this may include user stories, use cases, business requirements specifications, functional/non–functional requirements)
  • Work closely with software developers & QA teams to communicate requirements and ensure they are well–understood and provide all needed input for software development
  • Take part in short daily team meetings designed to improve communication among team and identify and solve blockers on requirements
  • Review interim builds to ensure requirements have been implemented appropriately
  • Review test cases & scripts to ensure that QA coverage is appropriate
  • Support wider EDA business regarding product releases, deliver/contribute to product awareness sessions and assist in the production of internal release documentation
  • Be able to balance and support more than one products and scrum teams

The successful candidate will have:
  • Strong, demonstrable experience as a Business Analyst
  • Exposure to (or understanding of) the full software development lifecycle – from initial concept through requirements gathering, analysis, design, programming and testing, to deployment and training
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills – requirements elucidation, documentation, development planning meetings, workshop facilitation, presentations
  • Excellent analytical & problem–solving skills, thorough impact analysis and attention to detail
  • Good negotiation skills – ability to manage expectations and control scope
  • An understanding of digital identity verification and authentication processes
  • Agile development methodologies – SCRUM
  • Previous experience as a product owner
  • Background as a software engineer
  • Good team player – working closely with multiple stakeholders
