My client a fast growing business services company who are at £7m turnover, are currently looking to hire a financial controller to help them grow.

Description

You will be responsible for running their finance function, which includes the following tasks:

Preparing financial information for our MD and external investors
Maintaining a timely and accurate flow of financial information
Compiling staffing, expenditure, and income reports
Managing credit control closely
Producing business plans, setting goals, and designing a framework to achieve them
Setting up efficient accounting policies and procedures
Verifying and circulating monthly management accounts
Keeping our asset register up-to-date
Ensuring audit compliance and an efficient year-end
Any other tasks necessary for the efficient running of the finance department

Managing 2 people in the finance team

Profile

Fully Qualified
Strong Excel and systems
Previous management experience
Commercially savvy
Hands on attitude
Confident and a team player
