Reporting to the Group Financial Controller and CFO, we are looking for a dynamic and competent Group Reporting Manager, to support the Finance Director in undertaking all aspects of financial management, including corporate accounting, regulatory and financial reporting, budget and forecasts preparation, as well as development of internal control policies and procedures. Group Reporting Manager responsibilities will also include financial risk management.

Description

  • Month and quarter end closing procedures, including the preparation/review of journal entries and related analysis and reconciliation of general ledger accounts.
  • Prepare monthly entity income statement and variance analysis.
  • Ensure integrity and efficient operation of accounts payable, receivable, fixed asset and banking systems.
  • Preparation of Annual accounts audit and filing in the UK. Oversight of equivalent third party preparation of Ireland, UK, Poland and Australian processes.
  • Tax review and analysis for UK and group companies including working with external tax advisors to ensure accuracy of tax numbers in accounts including corporation tax, VAT, P11D, PSA.
  • Balance sheet account reconciliations.
  • Maintenance and control of sales & purchase ledger including bank payments and raising invoices.
  • Processing and reconciling intercompany charges.
  • Operate as a member of accounting team and provide back up to other accounting functions as needed.
  • Assist in the maintenance of the chart of accounts.
  • Cashflow forecasting.

Profile

  • Minimum of 3 years accounting experience.
  • Preferably with PE / AIM listed experience though not essential.
  • Relevant experience with accounting and business systems.
  • Qualified (ACA, ACCA)
  • Must possess strong analytical and communication skills.
  • Ability to successfully organise and prioritise responsibilities whilst working independently.
  • Pro-active problem solver with strong attention to detail who will suggest process & system improvements.
  • Ability to communicate and work well with all levels of the organisation and third parties.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel and computer skills.
  • Ability to multi task.
  • Team collaboration skills.

Job Offer

£45,000 - £55,000 + Bonus + Pension and Share Options.
