The HR Service Team Associate (Tier 1) role is responsible for providing front line HR support to all Moody's employees. This will be done primarily via responding to all HR inquiries from employees, managers and executives, ranging from simple questions to complex requests that may require research and follow-up for resolution. The HR Service Team A ssociate will respond to inquiries through several channels including telephone contact and e-mail requests, and will track all interactions and other work via a case management tool. In addition, the HR Service Team Associate is responsible for the administration of HR processes, with an emphasis on HR transaction processing including HR data entry, workflow monitoring and approvals, other HR transactions in Moody's HRMS and other HR systems, HR process-related document collection, review, and approval. He/she is expected to be the regional function lead for absence management in APAC.

Responsibilities
  • Act as the point person fo r all data entry and status changes into the HRMS system
  • Ensure all Service Team processes, standards and protocols are followed, including those focused on data quality controls
  • Provide initial contact and support for customers managing sensitive and confidential information related to HR issues
  • Communicate effectively (written or verbal) matching customer style, needs, and level of understanding to support optimal customer interaction, including accurate and grammatically correct support for available customer support channels (phone, email, case management)
  • Provide customer support that generates a high level of customer satisfaction and inspires confidence through effective communication, expert knowledge, and efficient escalation to resolve issues
  • Independently identify new HR needs and gathers suggestions from peers Human Resources members, wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected
  • Work with the HRIS team to troubleshoot WorkWise HR security issues for the region
  • Become a subject matter expert and skilled end user for Moody's HRMS and other technologies. Monitor and manage HRMS workflows
  • Ensure all Service Team processes, standards and protocols are followed, including those focused on data quality controls
  • Provide support as needed for the Human Resources Team
  • Role may expand to include responsibilities for administration of additional HR processes
  • Ad-hoc projects as assigned


HR Service Delivery

Required Background
  • Tertiary qualifications in a related discipline will be highly regarded
  • Minimum 2 years work experience in a specialized role, preferably within the global financial services sectors
  • Must be a team player: willing to continuously and proactively collaborate and share information
  • Experience with HR systems (WorkWise HRMS is required)
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, Powerpoint)
  • Testing experience is required
  • Knowledge of WorkWise security
  • High degree of integrity and confidentiality

  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
  • Strong interpersonal and communication (both written and verbal) skills
