Description
This Financial Accountant role will offer a varied position and an exciting challenges that will range throughout the following duties:
Produce monthly accounts
Produce half year and full year accounts to be published
Reconciliations (balance sheet)
Manage accounts payable (or Purchase ledger)
Manage accounts receivable ( or Sales ledger)
Manage credit control
Liaise with tax accountants
Liaise with treasury (cash flow forecasting)
Profile
Essential relationships will include:
Working with the Commercial Director and other members of the Leadership team to prepare an annual financial forecast for this section to group identifying Key Performance Indicators for monitoring the performance of the company.
Working with the Commercial Director, the Financial Controller and the Management Accountant to ensure that the management of the Finance Department is effective and that workloads are shared around the team to meet the all-important deadlines.
Working with the Commercial Director and other members of the Finance team to identify improvements in reporting and other potential efficiencies across the group in order to maximise the investment that the organisation can make
Assisting with the preparation of ad hoc financial reports and other tasks as required by the Commercial Director
To be a part qualified accountant studying a charted accountancy qualification (CIMA / ACCA / ACA)
To have a strong understanding of financial systems - Advanced Excel is essential
Property / Construction / Commercial experience is advantageous
