Management Accountant

I am currently working with a well known SME business in West Kent who are recruiting for a talented Management Accountant with 2-3 years post qualified experience.

Client Details

My client are a well established SME that base themselves locally in West Kent but have a truly international presence.

Description

• Reconcile the nominal ledger, sales ledger, purchase ledger and balance sheet

• Management and ownership of key finance processes including monthly performance, variance analysis and posting journals

• Ensure adequate financial control is in place and adhered to at all times throughout the company

• Prepare the monthly management accounts and write the monthly finance report for the Leadership Team ensuring delivered on time every month

• Consult with the Leadership Team and the rest of the business to produce the annual budget and forecasts as required

• Manage the company cash flow including production of accurate forecasts

• Ensure effective credit control processes and management

• Line manage the Accounts Assistant, delegating work as appropriate to ensure smooth and efficient running of the financial accounting processes

• Liaise with the company accountants/auditors to produce the annual statutory accounts

• Support the Finance Director in analysing results and with ad hoc projects as required

• To identify and develop improvements in processes and reporting

Profile

• Newly qualified accountant (ACCA/ACA/CIMA)
