About the Finance Manager Role:

This is a fantastic opportunity to join COHOST as the Finance Manager where you will manage and control the company's books for one of the newest and best designed co-living communities in Shanghai. Based at our West Bund site, you will be responsible for analyzing financial activities and subsequently provide advice and guidance to upper management. In this role you will be a key member of and report directly to the Head office. Our community is opening late in 2017, but we want you to get started immediately.

Responsibilities:

• Manage - Manage and prepare the company's budget; provide financial reports and interpret financial information to General Manager.
• Analyze - Analyze cost, pricing, and variable contributions, sales results and the company's actual performance compared to initial financial projections.
• Correspond - Correspond with various company departments and liaise with external government agencies to ensure the company's financial health and legal requirements are maintained.
• Supervise - Supervise the implementation and maintenance of the company's financial management procedures and policies; advise upper management on annual and quarterly financial plans
• Prepare - Prepare, analyze, and check company's tax obligations

Qualifications:

• BS/MA degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics with accounting certificate, intermediate title is a plus
• Proven experience of 2-3+ years as a Financial Manager
• Expert in government financial policies and tax laws
• Previous experience in hotel financial management a plus
• Proficient user of finance software and Excel
• A solid understanding of financial statistics and accounting principles
• Strong ability to manage cost and control risk
• Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills, including written and spoken fluency is Chinese and English
