About the role
As the Manager of Finance & Administration you'll play an integral role in overseeing the financial, administration and operations of the organisation. In this role you will manage the school's resources, investments and will work alongside the Senior Management Team to contribute to the development of long term strategic plans. As a focus in this role you will be required to provide financial analysis, modelling and advice to decision makers across the organisation.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and review the organisations financial position including leadership of the finance team
- Preparation of annual budgets for review by the board and assist in the evaluation of tuition fee setting
- Manage all employee services duties including payroll, recruitment and performance reviews
- Preparation and review of financial and operational reporting for the Board and its sub-committees
- Have oversight of the College and associated entities' financial and accounting functions including; cash flow, financial performance, management reporting and budget preparation
- Oversee the preparation of submissions for, and delivery of, loans, grants etc and ensure the structure of loan facilities is in the best interests of the College
- Manage all administrative functions of the school including management of staff and ensuring effective professional development plans are in place
The ideal candidate will have:
- A degree in Commerce, Accounting or Finance and have completed their CA/CPA (or equivalent)
- 5 + years' experience in a similar diverse role with experience across administration, finance, operations & HR
- Proven experience leading a large shared service team across multiple functions and be able to demonstrate their strong leadership capabilities
- The ability to think strategically and develop innovative ideas to contribute to the organisations long term goals
- Prior experience working in the education sector desirable
