Description
Our client is looking for a Credit Controller to join their Accountancy team in Guildford on an interim basis
To ensure prompt payment of all student and fees and charges to firms. To ensure that course fees are collected in accordance with financial procedures and the terms and conditions agreed with students and firms, and that appropriate action is taken at the correct time when debts become overdue
Proactive telephone/text/email contact with debtors to achieve monthly collection targets. Manage monthly debtors and report on progress throughout the month to Head of Finance
To provide a first class service with regard to the management of student and firm fees
To provide the same level of service to students and contacts at firms, and to colleagues within the finance department and all areas of the business.
To agree KPI's with the Head of Finance (including but not limited to Monthly Debtors targets, zero exam withholds, de-registration) and ensure that targets are met.
In addition to the duties and responsibilities listed below, the job holder is required to perform other duties assigned by the Finance Manager from time to time
Profile
A successful candidate will have experience with the above & be available on short notice.
