Management Accountant - 12 -18 Month Fixed Term Contract (Maternity Cover)

The Role

An opportunity has arisen for a Management Accountant to be appointed within the Finance Division, located in Sydney's CBD.

Reporting to the Manager, Internal Reporting, this role will be a key contributor to production of monthly reports for Group, Local Business, Board and executives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Participate in the monthly reporting process (including month end journals, reconciliations)
• Responsible for monthly management, group and executive financial reports
• Assist the business with preparation and submission of annual Plans and Forecasts
• Assist in monitoring expenditure against Plan/Forecast for costs centers including analysis, commentary and insights
• Prepare reports and analysis on divisional expenses
• Engage with different stakeholders across the business

Key Requirements:

• CA / CIMA / CPA qualified
• 3-5 years of experience Management Accountant
• IFRS and AGAAP experience
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
• SAP/TM1 Knowledge preferred
• Insurance experience highly desired
• Strong written and verbal communication
• Strong stakeholder engagement ability
