To administer the Company's DB and/or DC pension arrangements ensuring accurate and timely investment of contributions, payment of benefits, maintenance of member records and dealing with related enquiries.
Client Details
Our client is a well-known & growing business looking to add a Pensions Administrator to their team in Guildford.
Description
Administration of all aspects of the Company's DB and/or DC arrangements, including processing leavers, benefit payments, deaths, transfers-in and out and maintenance of member records.
Resolution of DB and DC member enquiries and liaison with third parties by letter, email and telephone.
Provision of monthly and weekly changes of additional contribution adjustments to Payroll.
Closures/switches of funds in accordance with members' wishes.
Obtaining AVC monies and updating members' records in preparation for benefit distribution.
Checking of colleagues' work as required.
Assistance with payments as required.
Manage their own workload within departmental guidelines to enable accurate reporting and efficient service delivery.
Keeps technical knowledge up to date and relevant to the role.
Profile
2+years' experience in DB and/or DC administration with strong member processing skills.
Excellent computer skills, in particular Microsoft Excel and Word.
Experience of reconciling volumes of numeric data to tight deadlines.
Diligent, enthusiastic, well organised and takes methodical approach to work
Able to demonstrate initiative, and problem solving skills to deliver results
Proven ability to understand and implement complex, technical material
Strong communication skills with customers and colleagues
Proven ability to share ideas and work as part of a team.
Job Offer
£22,000 - £30,000 dependent on experience
