Finance Business Partner, Company Formation

Main Duties

• Perform review and analysis of consolidated management accounts and balance sheet schedules on a monthly basis
• Provide guidance and training to local accounting team to ensure management account is closed timely and accurately
• Prepare and perform analysis of performance tracking schedules to support sales office operation
• Prepare budget and develop tracking tools to ensure the divisional performance is on track
• Perform regular review on agreements, both internally and externally and make recommendation of any changes if required
• Support the preparation of statutory financial accounts and tax filing
• Assist in the development, implementation and monitoring of accounting policies, treasury and other financial procedures
• Support Group initiatives and local business units on management information needs
• Drive operational efficiencies and internal control efforts to maintain a high level of integrity
• Act as a main point of contact for internal clients
• Coordinate and work with external auditors and consultants
• Ad hoc projects as they arise such as M&A, market research, reporting enhancements, pricing review etc.

Requirements / Qualifications

The successful candidate should possess the following:

• Tertiary degree in relevant discipline
• Professional accounting qualification (eg. CPA, CA) is preferred
• Minimum 7 years of solid finance and reporting experience with exposure to financial consolidation work
• Previous experience in MNCs or Professional Services industry preferred
• Strong knowledge of IFRS is required
• Experience with finance transformation projects will be highly valued
• China tax, audit and accounting experiences are preferred
• Self-driven and enthusiastic, with a strong sense of ownership to complete deliverables in a practical and pragmatic approach
• Ability to complete individual deliverables and communicate efficiently with different parties
• In-depth knowledge of a financial consolidation system of Hyperion and/or SAP
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite with advanced level in Excel
• Strong oral and written command of professional English
• Professional fluency in Mandarin or Cantonese is preferred
