Description

Joining as an Audit and Accounts Manager you will report directly to Partners and will be responsible for managing, controlling and conducting the audit and accounts fieldwork for a diverse range of corporate and Not for Profit clients with turnovers up to £70 million turnover.

The clients will range from large groups, subsidiaries of overseas operations, OMBs, charities and academies. Clients are varied across a wide spectrum of industries to include manufacturing, property, construction, tourism, leisure, charities and others.

You will also manage and develop junior members of the team. You will play a key role for a Partner in developing the department, together with proposals for new work and have involvement in networking with the business communities across the region. Given the scope of the role and positive developments within the firm, with ongoing growth, there are excellent prospects for short/medium and longer term career progression for career focused individuals, looking to develop and progress their accountancy practice careers within a Devon based firm of chartered accountants.

Profile

You will be a qualified ACA or ACCA Audit Manager, with a background in practice, currently based locally to Sidcup in North Kent, or looking to relocate to the region and seeking a role providing development potential and progression opportunities. You will have anything from up to 2 - 5 years or more post qualified practice experience in audit across a range of industries and turnovers and a background with any of Top Tier, Top Tier, medium/large independent or smaller firm environment.
