Senior Finance Manage

Financial Controller / Manager Our clients, a large Professional Service firm, are looking to recruit an experienced Financial Professional to join their team. The firm is growing and require a dynamic, analytically minded and ambitious accountant to help the company move forward. Reporting to the Finance Director, this role will manage the day to day activities of the accounts team of 10 and ensure the proper internal controls over key financial processes are maintained. The candidate will have daily contract with the company directors. The Role: Ensure the production of timely and accurate financial accounts and reports in accordance with Firm's requirements, including full P & L and Balance Sheet to strict deadlines Direct line manager for accounts team. Co-ordinate the preparation of annual budgets and periodic forecasts. Development of appropriate financial policies, procedures and controls across the Firm. Manage the activities of the Accounts Team including the management of accounts payable, payroll, bank accounts and general ledger etc. Oversee all Statutory and CSO returns. Analysis on WIP. The Person: The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant with a number of years post qualification experience, ideally practice trained and/or with experience in the professional services sector. He/she will have worked in a successful diverse organisation with full integration into the commercial dimensions of the business. He/she will have gained hands on people management experience through direct management of teams, including playing an active role in performance management and work allocation.
