A great role for a contracts accountant - NHS to work for a W. Yorkshire based NHS Organisation. This is a role on an interim basis at a Band 8a level that will start in August and run through until January 2018.

You will use your accountancy skills to deliver key objectives around the production, monitoring and review of budgets, specifically relating to the contracts in place with NHS Providers and the Independent Sector. This will include forecasting, and the provision of timely and accurate financial information to inform monthly and year-end reporting.The role will provide key support to the contract negotiation process, providing finance and activity information to support commissioning and contracting decisions.

Profile

As Contracts Accountant - NHS you will need to demonstrate good I.T. and analytical skills and experience of financial systems and processes, preferably in a contracting or management accounting environment.

Inter-personal and communication skills are essential to the role and you must be able to work effectively as part of a team. The post holder will be expected to have good organisational skills and the ability to work to tight deadlines in an efficient way.

Ideally candidates will be fully qualified ( ACA / CIMA / ACCA / CIPFA) although exceptional candidates who demonstrate that they achieve the requirements of a Band 8a with relevant NHS experience could be considered.

Job Offer

This is a Band 8a level role and will be paid at the equivalent hourly rate to a salary of c. £40,428 - 48,514
