Responsibilities include:
• Organize and supervise activities of costing area that will ensure controls are adequate and current.
• Coordinate the preparation of financial statements, financial reports, and supporting analyses (both defined and ad hoc), along with meaningful commentary to explain results to various levels within the organization. Ensures that financial reporting requirements to Duracell, Berkshire Hathaway and internal deadlines and criteria are met.
• Ensure compliance with Duracell's Standard Practice Instructions, Sarbanes Oxley internal controls, and FCPA.
Ensures that financial and IT SOX documentation in maintained in a current manner.
• Oversee and modify for optimum efficiency and effectiveness the financial processes and supporting information systems of the business including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
• Provide general supervision and management of the day-to-day financial affairs of the company.
• Coordinate and prepare annual budget and monthly & quarterly forecast updates as required.
• Lead the establishment of standard costs and ICBP in the annual budgeting process, provide reconciliation vs. last year, and well explain to business partners.
• Ensure financial targets are established at the appropriate lowest level and are well understood by the management team and provide at least monthly updates via presentations to the management team of performance versus budget, forecast and prior year.
• Develop growth and savings initiatives and track performance monthly to ensure targets are achieved.
• Ensure financial records & systems are maintained in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles.
• Analyze cost and expenses to guide business leaders. Analyze financial statements to pinpoint potential weak areas and develop solutions.
• Manage the work plan and career development of subordinates and provide sufficient instructions, coaching and training. Supervise and mentor the department staff and make changes as needed to develop the strength of the team.
Job qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting / Finance subjects.
• More than 5 years of costing / accounting / financial analysis experience
• More than 3 years supervisory experience in manufacturing environment preferred.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Written and spoken in English.
Salary range:
RMB 320,000-350,000
