Experiencing growth at a rapid rate due to many new business wins, this is a unique opportunity for three good quality individuals to join a dynamic up-and-coming firm who are looking to open an office in Islamabad.
The roles will give you exposure to a variety of bookkeeping and accounting assignments. The work will be varied, full training and support will be provided. Progression to a higher level is expected.
To be considered for one of the new roles it is likely you will be a qualified ACCA. The first two roles are for junior accountants. The requirement for these roles are highlighted below. To be considered for one of the junior accountant positions you must have at least 12 months work experience in an accountancy environment.
The third role is for a semi senior accountant. To be considered for this role you must have between 18 and 24 months of direct accounting experience. All potential employees must be able to speak and write in fluent English.
About The Roles:
Junior Accountant
- Assisting with accounts preparation for Limited companies, Sole traders, Partnerships, LLP’s & Charities.
- Completion of VAT (sales tax returns returns).
- Bookkeeping and Payroll responsibilities.
- Assisting with tax computations both personal and corporate.
- Assisting senior team members.
Semi-Senior Accountant
- Preparation of accounts for sole traders, partnerships, charities and companies.
- Prepare monthly management accounts for clients.
- Prepare quarterly VAT (sales tax returns returns) for clients.
- Prepare and process monthly payroll returns to HMRC.
- Work with the wider team supporting others and managing your own time, working to deadlines.
- Prepare taxation computations.
- Help junior staff to develop technical skills.
- Build relationships and liaise confidently with business partners.
Candidate Requirements
- ACCA qualified
- IT proficient: Excel and word (essential).
- Sage and other accountancy bookkeeping software experience (desirable but not essential).
- Good English communication skills.
- Ability to build positive working relationships with colleagues and business owners at all levels.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Proven planning and prioritising skills.
- Good technical and analytical skills.
- Able to work under pressure with accuracy and focus.
