My client is the one of the largest and most established consumer goods trading and distribution MNC from the US with businesses worldwide. With HK being their APAC hub, the accounting and finance team has always been crucial to the operations of the business, considering that the APAC area has always been one of the strongest performing regions.

To cope with their business needs, they are currently looking for an Assistant Accounting Manager to join their APAC regional team.

about the role

Reporting to the Senior Finance Manager, you will be taking up an all rounded accounting and finance role. Leading a small team of Accountants and Assistant Accountants, you will be supervising the team and oversee the full sets of accounts. At the same time, you will have the responsibility to work with the US HQ on budget, forecast and financial analysis in order to provide better insights into the overall performance of the region. You will also be preparing the consolidated financial statements for the region on a timely manner.

skills and experience required

• 8+ years of accounting and finance experience in retail or trading industries
• Candidates with prior external audit experience from the Big 4 is a MUST
• A good team leader, organised, dedicated and with strong sense of responsibility
• Excellent presentations and communications skills (Chinese and English)
• Degree holder in Finance or Accounting
• Working knowledge in ERPs e.g. SAP, Oracle, AX will be advantageous
• CPA or ACCA Holder / Finalist
