Chief Financial Officer We are looking for a driven and highly capable Finance Professional, with a proven track record at management level in both practice and industry, who is hungry to take on responsibility at CFO level for a fast growing international company. If that sounds like you then please read on…. Our client is a young, dynamic and highly successful company who hold the number one position in automated marketing for Social Media. Their success to date is simply staggering but reflects the quality of their ground breaking technology which is the most innovative available on the market. They aim to further capitalise on their dominant position and have major plans to expand their operations, both in Ireland and Internationally. With current offices in 6 countries they plan to set up in 10 more locations within 18 months, with major plans already underway for operations within the US. As part of their ongoing success and growth they now seek to appoint a CFO to join their senior executive team. About you: You should have a strong financial background having gained your initial training and experience with one of the large accountancy firms (Big 5) before moving into industry. You will currently be working in a Senior Finance Role and will have experience in multiple jurisdictions, ideally with experience of US GAAP. You will have the ability to apply critical thinking skills, along with financial acumen, to the long term goals of the organization. Your will be highly numerate and skilled in the analysis of financial data. Chief Financial Officer Job Duties: Responsible for all financial, accounting, payroll and pension administration functions of all legal entities. Responsible for financial planning and analysis. Provide executive management with advice and guidance on the financial implication of business decisions. Management of the annual audit process, meeting with external auditors and audit committee.Filing of statutory returns, annual statutory accounts and corporate tax returns. Preparation and presentation of monthly results on financial performance to executive management & Board of Directors. Rigid cash and working capital management. Management of the annual audit process, meeting with external auditors and audit committee. Liaison with legal, banks, insurance, pension advisors and government bodies where required. Preparation of detailed business plans when required. Requirements: Candidates must have all of the following: Fully qualified (ACA, ACCA etc.), ideally with a Business Degree or MBA in addition. Experience in Industry as well as Practice. Proven experience in a Senior Finance Role (Financial Controlled / Finance Director) Experience in a fast moving high tech industry sector. International experience is essential. Ability to think strategically. Personal characteristics Analytical with attention to detail.
