This is a great opportunity to join one of the NSW Government's more commercially operated entities on a long term contract basis. This focus of this role will be to manage the procurement and contract management services across the organisation and to manage vendor relationships, to ensure beneficial outcomes for the organisation.

Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Manage the end to end procurement and contract management activities in accordance with company policy and the NSW Government Procurement Framework.
  • Establish, implement and maintain governance, policies and continuous improvement procedures in procurement management - including tender management, vendor and contract management, stakeholder education and development of materials.
  • Engage and collaborate with stakeholders in the organisation to develop, monitor and measure against performance metrics to ensure service delivery is in line with contractual obligations.
  • Manage relationships and information flow between internal and external procurement partners to develop, review, report on and revise contractual arrangements as necessary.
  • Manage the Contracts Register and publication of contract details under the requirements of NSW Government guidelines
  • Provide strategic advice to the Director Finance on Government Procurement Policy and Framework.
  • Implement technology, systems and process solutions that deliver efficiencies.

To be successful with this position you will hold tertiary qualifications in supply chain management or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and on the job training. You will be able to clearly demonstrate experience in managing tendering processes, communicating relevant tender and procurement processes internally and externally and managing multiple stakeholders. As this position largely manages procurement initiatives largely related to services and not products, a services background would be preferred.
