As a key member of the finance leadership team, you're role involves business partnering 9 branches across the region, to provide sound financial leadership and judgement to challenge performance and aid the business in hitting its ambitious targets.

Description
- Help business partners to establish robust budgets and forecasts
- Helping business partners to be accountable and responsible in delivering budgets and forecasts
- Provide ad-hoc analysis and decision support for the business to enable it to cope with market and business changes
- Working with the Regional Finance team to develop controls and procedures to ensure that all key financial and operational issues are identified, communicated and captured on a timely basis
- Deeply understand business challenges, talk their language and 'have a view'
- Build and manage relationships and network productively
- Have the ability to get into and understand the detail but then step back and make considered, holistic judgements which can be communicated and illustrated succinctly and effectively
- Ability to interact with non-financial business partners is key i.e. Sales, Marketing, Operations etc interpreting complicated commercial positions/situations in clear articulate ways
- Help the business through potential operational systems changes and upgrades
Profile
- Qualified accountant
- Be a self-starter and not be phased by having little previous infrastructure and process to rely on. Be able to work on own initiative with a minimum of supervision but maintaining a focus on teamwork
- Be commercially aware and possess strong numerical skills with a keen desire to question and challenge information to ensure high reliability
- Have an operational focus with experience and evidence of helping businesses deliver and monitor operational performance
- Possess well-developed analytical skills combined with the ability to present detailed information clearly and succinctly to Senior Management
Job Offer
