A key interim role based in Thame, to start on 24th July, supporting the CFO through a systems implementation and other finance related projects. This interim role is expected to run for 3 months.

Description
This is a key interim role providing "plug and play" support for the CFO at a critical point for the business following a big ERP implementation which is due to go live on July 1st.
Due to go live of the project and other commitments, the requirement is from July 24th in order that the business can arrange a proper handover with incumbent who is moving on to support temporarily a US implementation for October 1st go live
We are looking for an individual who is confident to hit the ground running and comfortable owning and driving expected projects and activities that will include:
- Review and consolidation of Group Budget from 5 global entities in US, Asia and Europe
- Covenant Compliance Analysis and Submission to Commercial Bank
- Preparation of Monthly Information Pack
- Integration of a newly acquired business including acquisition balance sheet
- Collation and challenging of weekly sales reports from sites
- Month end Group Consolidation - statutory financial statements
- Month end Group Consolidation of Rolling Forecasts, Financial Bible, Performance Bridges etc.
- Transfer Pricing Project plus Management Service Agreement for Corporate Expenses
- Overseeing and monitoring Group Capex spending vs budget
- Undertaking analysis as required of Sales by Customer and Product
- Supporting UK Financial Controller if required
Profile
For this key role , we are looking for a Graduate Qualified Accountant with experience in a busy progressive and tightly managed SME manufacturing or supply chain business
You will also need to be:
- Experienced with group reporting, annual budget preparation, financial and data modelling, standard costing and cash flow forecasting.
- A problem solver who is prepared to challenge explanations to get to the root cause of issues in seeking to understand drivers of performance, yet with the ability to build good working relationships to provide support to others, whether at the senior or junior level.
- Strong IT and financial analytical skills. The "Go To Person" for stakeholders needing Excel support or data extracts from any ERP system
- Very good verbal and written communication skills
- Someone who is a self-starter, with energy and drive to go the extra mile and take the lead on assignments, who anticipates the needs of all stakeholders and deliver highly quality presentation ready analysis or reports.
- Comfortable working to tight schedules and deadlines to deliver results.
We are looking for a professional interim who is familiar with parachuting in to business and adding value with minimum handover.
