The Finance Systems Accountant will report to the Finance Business Systems Analyst with responsibility for the support and development of finance systems across the group. Emphasis of this particular role is on the consolidation and reporting processes for which Tagetik has recently been implemented.

Key responsibilities
Initial focus of the role will be to support the post go live warranty period and transition of Tagetik to business as usual:
- Clear outstanding tasks from the development phase.
- Lead training to ensure users have sufficient knowledge to get the best out of the system. Develop and maintain a level of reporting capability in the larger divisions and assist smaller ones with report writing.
- Enhance data entry processes to make them less onerous for users.
Business as usual:
- Maintain user guides and system configuration documentation.
- Providing support and troubleshooting for month end, year end, group reporting and planning cycles.
- Maintain the forward change plan for Tagetik, ensure timely delivery of agreed enhancements to increase adoption of Tagetik including
- Develop the system to use for budgeting and forecasting.
- Widen the use of the tool outside the current focus on financial and management accounting (eg develop capability for treasury management).
- Administration of the system. Controlling monthly and annual close cycles, ensure SAP connections work, add new users, maintain security profiles.
- Maintain the integrity of the system by performing regular control checks.
- Provide integration support to new acquisitions/divestments.
- Adhoc support across all finance processes and applications where required.
Profile
deal experience and competencies
Proven expertise in supporting and administering a multi-currency consolidation system, to include report writing.
Experience and knowledge of SAP FI CO
Experience and knowledge of highly desirable
Firm understanding of management accounting and statutory reporting principles.
Good communication skills.
Ability to work unsupervised
Professional Accounting Qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
Able and willing to travel when necessary (less than 15% of time)
