My Retail client based in Islington are looking for an Assistant Management Accountant to join them on a Temp to Permanent Basis. This is a great opportunity for a progressive candidate to further their experience and accelerate their career.

My retail client have recently had a period of growth and consequently there is an opportunity for a progressive Assistant Management Accountant to join them. There is a great deal of work to be done but it's a great chance to continue with your development with the management accounts. You'll be doing the production under the supervision of the FD.

Description

This Assistant Management Accountant role will involve

• Balance Sheet Reconciliations
• P&L Analysis. (This is a crucial part of the business due to the high volume of transactions)
• P&L production
• Month end reporting
• Accruals & Prepayments
• Journal Entries
• Other Ad Hoc Duties
• Liaising with Senior Stake Holders
• Exposure to Commercial and Business Partnering
• Weekly Flash Reporting
• Assisting with Month end Account Production
• Using JD Edwards
• Using a strong level of excel

Profile

The successful candidate will

• Be progressive and willing to learn
• Be immediately available
• Have some exposure to management accounting
• Have good Excel skills
• Have an analytical mind
• Be studying for their ACCA/CIMA or intend to in the future
• Be able to commute to islington
