Accounts Assistant (Purchase Ledger)

Location: Broadbridge Heath

Salary: GBP21k

Hours: Full Time Mon–Fri

Due to location you need to have your own transport (Free parking on site)

My client is looking for a well organised Accounts Assistant primarily dealing with the purchase ledger side of the business to join their busy but friendly accounts team based in Broadbridge Heath.

Responsibilities:

* Adding supplier invoices and code them appropriately
* Monitor and enter credit cards and expenses
* Monitor fuel cards
* Reconciliation of credit cards on a monthly basis
* Reconciliation of supplier and customer accounts
* Update mileage/expenses forms
* Enter weekly payment run
* Compile financial reports
* Send supplier remittance advice
* Month end process
* Raise sales orders and invoices as required

The right candidate must have the following skills and attributes:

* Knowledge of Sage Accounts and manufacturing
* Proven purchase ledger and accounts background
* Great attention to detail
* Confident communicator
* Ability to work well under pressure
