HB Accountants are recruiting a Tax Manager to join their team based in Hoddesdon. This opportunity is to replace the current Tax Manager who will be retiring in the near future.

Mixed Tax - Personal and Corporate

The successful applicant will be integral in developing and growing the client base.

This position requires an individual who has a `can do` attitude and the ability to work collaboratively providing both advisory and technical advice. The successful candidate will have the experience and personal characteristics to communicate effectively and support the wider business and clients, providing guidance to clients and colleagues.

A fundamental requisite is the desire and hunger to succeed, a thirst for knowledge, and desire in progressing their career within HB Accountants. The Tax Manager will be working directly with the Directors providing support to colleagues.

They will be accountable for taking the lead with advisory and compliance matters, demonstrating the ability to partner with clients. It is critical that this candidate creates a dynamic taxation environment which manages the increasing demands and constraints.

This is a critical post within the business, providing a streamlined operation in a professional and collaborative environment. It is crucial that the Tax Manager is open minded with the hunger to succeed while able to interpret client's needs. It is important that the Tax Manager has the gravitas to build trust, communicate and advise. Equally it is critical that they have the aptitude to lead and mentor and can demonstrate being able to handle different scenarios sensitively. Consequently the calibre and cultural fit of the successful individual will be of paramount importance.
