Head of Commercial Finance

In this role you will be reporting directly to and working closely with the Finance Director. You will play a key role in reshaping the finance department and implementing sold processes and controls and reporting procedures to support this growing business.

Description

In this role your responsibilities will include:

- Ensuring accurate and timely monthly management accounts including variance analysis

- Managing the annual budget process, producing quarterly forecasts and providing support to budget holders throughout the process

- Working closely and forming effective working relationships with the rest of Finance

- Ensuring the team provides financial advice to budget holds and project leads

- Assisting the FD to improve, maintain and document effective financial controls

Profile

This client is looking for someone who:

- Financially literate, able to analyse, report and dissect all manner of financial data from complex financial models to financial reporting

- Strategic thinking, able to assess complex matters and provide advice

- Articulate financial outcomes to a broad range of stakeholder groups

- Positive, customer focused attitude

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Effective team player

- Previous experience of leading a team in producing management accounts, variance analysis and costing

Job Offer

£40,000 - £55,000 + benefits
