Perform the following activities in support of pre-approval processing for various credit facilities such as Equipment & Machinery Loans, Business Term Loans, Commercial Property Loans, Trade Facilities etc.

  • Verify and review application and other supporting documents per established program guidelines. Documents include but are not limited to financial statements, Credit Bureau and ACRA reports, bank statements etc.
  • Validate and edit information in proprietary credit processing system.
  • Access and retrieve information from proprietary banking systems
  • Communicate with partners from Sales, Risk and other Operations units.
  • Will be part of a section of about 10 -15 pax and report to a Team Lead
  • As assigned by Team Lead to take on additional tasks such as but not limited to: Process Improvements, Automation Projects, Coaching and Mentoring, Business Continuity, Administrative Tasks etc


Qualifications
- Candidates with relevant banking operations or credit-related experience will be considered
- Key Knowledge: Credit Concepts, Financial statements, Debt-Income and Debt-Servicing Ratios
- Degree from a recognized university. Preferably Major in Banking/Finance or related. Diploma Holders with relevant experience will also be considered.
- Good communication skills.
- Comfortable with numbers and computations.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and MS Outlook (Email Client). Knowledge of Access too would be a plus.
- Good team player
- Organized and ability to multi-task
