Our client is one of the largest services MNC in the US and a majoy player in the market that they operate in. Having businesses worldwide, Hong Kong is their APAC hub, and they are currently looking for an Assistant Accountant to join their APAC regional team.



about the role

Reporting to the Regional Finance Manager, you role will be responsible for the financial accounting aspects for the APAC region, with a key focus on the expenses side of books. Working closely with the Senior Accountant and the shared services center overseas, you will be assisting on the month end and year end closing for the APAC books of accounts. On top of that, you will also need to work on intercompany invoicing, reconciliations and the settlement of accounts. As part of the regional team, you will also need to be assisting on the tax returns process, the annual audits of the companies and the entities.



skills and experience required

4+ years of regional accounting experience in a sizeable corporate

Extensive experience in handling the full sets of accounts and closing independently

Detail minded, driven and with excellent communication skills

Fluency in English and Cantonese

Degree holder in Accounting, Finance or other disciplines that are related

Student / Final member of professional accounting qualifications (CPA, ACCA)
