The Legal Cashier / Team Administrator role is an exciting opportunity to work with a national law firm and professional services firm based in the West End of London office. The role is to support the legal team and translate their needs into a responsive administrative and legal cashier service.
Client Details
My client are a nationally based law and professional services firm that offer their services to large business', not-for-profit organisations and individuals. They are a well established and renowned firm with offices nationwide. The role will be based at their office in the West End of London.
Description
The Legal Cashier / Team Administrator responsibilities are:
Cashier
- Compliance with firm's money laundering requirements and SRA Rules
- Providing an efficient and effective service dealing with aspects of client account transactions
- Dealing with staff queries relating to client matters
Customer service
- Deal with any enquiries in a prompt and efficient manner
- Consistently and appropriately update team members
- Take messages and manage diaries
- Ad hoc duties as requested
- Offer assistance to team wherever possible
Legal (as and when required)
- Document processing
- Typing legal documents
- Research regarding legal matters
- HMLR and company house searches, forms and filings
- Checking documents for accuracy
- Completion of SLDT returns
Profile
The successful Legal Cashier / Team administrator will:
- Previous experience within a similar administrative/ legal cashier role
- Previous experience within the Legal or Professional Services industry (desirable)
- Extensive and up to date knowledge of SAR
- Must have client cashiering knowledge
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Able to work well alone and in a team
- Attention to detail
- Approachable and enthusiastic
- Ability to use initiative and deal with any problems as necessary
- Ability to develop trust, and build confidence with others
