ClarityTMS are currently seeking a Credit Controller to join our client based in Aldershot to fulfil a Maternity Cover contract for a 6 month term (possibly longer)
This is a full time position with working hours Monday to Friday and we are keen to secure a candidate to commence employment before the end of April to ensure a smooth handover process.
Working for a fast paced, dynamic and highly successful business you will be required to support the finance function alongside another credit controller.
The Role:
* Credit Control for 2 business brands
* Chasing payment and forwarding invoice queries details onto relevant internal departments.
* Chasing Sales regarding the queries until resolved.
* Emailing copy invoices/statements upon request.
* Putting accounts on hold who haven’t paid within time frame as promised/exceeding their credit terms.
* Informing relevant departments of any accounts on hold/off hold.
* Comprising reminders before action letters etc via Solicitors re; companies who aren’t paying.
* Forwarding Solicitors statements/invoices when received onto purchase ledger via email.
* Dealing with accounts over their credit limit
* Forwarding information onto Directors for large orders to check if OK to proceed or request proforma payment etc.
* Informing relevant department when a Company in Liquidation/Administration .
* Answering phone and taking proforma payments via credit card etc using payment system
* Taking payments for invoices on account
* Amending accounts credit limits and changing accounts to proforma/credit account.
* Updating accounts when information received by Experian re credit reports.
* Retrieving/forwarding credit reports on as per Directors requests.
* Opening and distributing post when required.
* Banking when required.
Ideally you will have at least 18 months-2 years business Credit Control experience. We are keen to speak with candidates who hold suitable experience with a view to arranging immediate interviews.
