Following a period of impressive growth, we are assisting a national organisation to appoint an immediately available Credit Controller in Birmingham city centre on a guaranteed temporary to permanent contract. Reporting to the Credit Manager you will be responsible to effectively monitor payments and arrears for c.100 national clients whilst maintaining good working relationships. There will be no need to chase debt as a separate team will be responsible for that.
The company is looking for a strong team player with demonstrable experience in managing client relationships in a positive manner.
Ideally, you will:
• Have the confidence to call customers and explain payment terms in order to receive payment
• Prioritise your workload and have good diary management skills
• Be efficient at reporting on a debt tracker to help the chasing team resolve overdue debts
• Possess intermediate Excel skills to report arrears data and information
