An international corporation offering business solutions to companies looking to expand into international markets seeks an experienced and highly capable CFO to join their local UK HQ in Bletchley.

This is a truly multinational company with 102 operating centres across 14 countries so the role will suit a senior finance professional familiar with global accounting functions including multinational account reconciliations and reporting to a global HQ.

Position Summary

The role will largely focus on effective risk management, planning the organization’s financial strategy. The company is a 100% subsidiary of a listed organisation in Tokyo stock market and has an HQ in the UK with subsidiaries in Hungary, Poland and Philippines.

A CFO must be well-versed in all aspects of financial management ranging from simple accounting to broad investment, international consolidation and forecasting for P&L/Cash Flow.

The ideal candidate will be an excellent leader since all relative departments of the organization will be under their command.

The goal is to protect the company’s revenues and profits to achieve full financial control and sustainable growth

Responsibilities

• Drive the company’s financial planning working closely with other executives and managers
• Prepare reliable management accounting report consolidated international subsidiaries
• Communicate and report for consolidation with global HQ in Tokyo
• Perform risk management by analysing the organisation’s liabilities and investments
• Decide on investment strategies by considering cash and liquidity risks
• Lead business plans, forecasting and gap analysis
• Ensure cash flow is appropriate for the organisation’s operations
• Supervise all finance personnel (controllers, treasurers etc.)
• Prepare reliable current and forecasting reports
• Ensure compliance with the law and company’s policies
• Manage team of financial controllers and financial analysts

Ideal candidate

• Minimum 10+ proven experiences as CFO, Financial director or financial controller in Europe
• Experience working as finance controller with international listed companies
• BSc/BA or equiv. in Accounting, Finance or relevant field; MSc/MBA level is a plus
• In depth knowledge of corporate financial law and risk management practices
• Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods
• Proficient in the use of MS Office and financial management software (e.g. SAP)
• CPA is a strong advantage
